Partial front vs full front
Partial front covers the leading portion of the hood and fenders — where most chips land — plus the bumper and mirrors. It's the value play. Full front wraps the entire hood and fenders, which eliminates the seam line across the middle of the hood. On dark colours that seam can catch the eye; on white and silver it's nearly invisible either way. If the car is black and you're picky, go full front.
What changes the price
- Coverage area. The obvious one — more panels, more film, more labour.
- Vehicle size and shape. Complex bumpers with deep curves take longer than flat ones.
- Paint condition. PPF locks in whatever's underneath. Heavy swirling or chips should be corrected first, or you're preserving damage.
