How much does PPF cost in the GTA?
At our Malton shop, partial front starts at $599, full front $999 and full vehicle $2,950. GTA pricing generally runs $800 to $6,000 depending on coverage and film. You can also protect single panels — a front bumper from $349, full hood $299, mirrors $79.
Is PPF worth it in Ontario?
Ontario winters are exactly the case for it. Salt, sand and gravel from winter roads will mark a new hood within a season or two. The film takes that damage instead of your paint, and a full front costs far less than a respray.
How long does PPF last?
Quality film lasts five to ten years depending on how the car is stored and driven. It yellows eventually with UV exposure, which is when it gets replaced.
PPF or ceramic coating — which do I need?
They do different jobs. PPF is physical thickness that stops chips and scratches. Ceramic is a chemical layer that adds gloss and makes the car easier to wash but won't stop a stone. Many customers do PPF on the front and ceramic over the whole car.
